Online App Prototype highlighting procrastination and productivity from Covid-19
Grind is an online app prototype created by me and two other students for Interaction Design at The University of Michigan. During Covid-19 we noticed students were experiencing more time management challenges and procrastination. We conducted interviews, audits of services on campus, used existing online tips, and secondary research relating to procrastination with school during covid, the transition back to in-person and general struggles with time management.
The app prototype shows the user how to register and use the app. Multiple functions are available to use and stay on task with all “to-do’s”. The app begins with a quiz to get to know the user and their work habits. The app has a Canvas integration because many Universities use this platform for assignments. A to-do list adds assignments automatically from canvas so the user cannot accidentally miss anything. Many more functions are available in the app prototype listed above in the images of the final design.
