Frozen Spirit is part of the Nature Scape collection. This earring is inspired by the Michigan winters where icicles grown. Each icicle frozen in their unique shapes, dangle off trees, buildings and other parts of the outdoors. Sterling silver and cubic zirconia stones were used for this piece. Using a wooden block, I carved the shape I wanted each piece of silver to be. I made a flat sheet of silver take shape by hammering each piece into a half circle, to mimic icicles look. Tube settings were made and soldered to each piece of silver icicle. I shaped silver wire to the ear then soldered each part to the wire. Finally, stones were set following with a high polish.
