The inspiration for the Breakthrough Ring came from engagement rings. They are elegant and each relationship is unique. I wanted to use a single stone for the focal point. The shape was formed from soldering and hammering several thin sheets of sterling silver together. The cubic zirconia stone was placed at the thinnest portion of the ring “breaking” through the edges of the silver.
