The Copper Connection Collection was inspired by a handful of coins. The texture and color of the pennies stood out from the other coins which is why copper was used. Creating three sizes of circles from a flat sheet of copper, I used a ball-peen hammer on the circles to give them texture. It was important to me that the circles lay proportionally on the chest and have a symmetrical look. The circles were replicated in a linear pattern to create earrings.
